Cape Town is calling and I am pretty much through my 'to-do' list, no knee-brace though...so extra strong ibuprofen! All that, as well as directing a school production; a nap on the plane is needed!
My running buddy and friend, from Uganda, is already in Cape Town and climbed Table Mountain yesterday. It looks beautiful. I AM EXCITED!!!

Just glad we are not actually running up it!
Think of us on Saturday! I'll let you know how it goes (and how the wine was!) when I return to Kampala.
Woop Woop!
Good luck! I'll be thinking about you. The London Marathon was last week (didn't participate). I've done 2 marathons before, pre kids - such a great experience. Have a wonderful time. Good luck with your knee. XOL
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I really hope you get some great pictures. I look forward to reading all about your adventures when you get back. My wife and I are really looking forward to the day that we go to Africa. Our daughter is adopted from around the Victoria falls area!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Fabulous location for a race. I was out supporting a friend at the London mararthon last weekend, remembering the time I ran one. Ouch! Hope the knee holds up.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is going to be an amazing feat (to me at least).
