The Sunday Service

Today at church a couple were celebrating 60 years of marriage and renewed their vows in front of a teary eyed congregation. Their great-granddaughter also got a blessing from the minister. It was such a lovely service.

I then ran in the rain and didn't hate every minute of it - I got back in time to watch Clarke hold up his Claret Jug. Happy days!

I seriously do not know where this week has gone!

By the time I get out of bed, listen to Pop Master and go for a run, it is time for lunch and time to check the Open leader board..!

I have left the village a couple of times this week though - mum,dad and I went to visit my grandparents- Gran was 85 on Wednesday. 85 years old! Amazing! Happy Birthday again Gran!

Other random things -  the deer have been getting to the roses in our garden. My dad has heard that you can tie human hair to the stems and the deer won't eat them (hmm?????) - he keeps asking me for some hair...but so far I have only given him the lone grey strand that I found. I have been sleeping with one eye open...!

It is lovely to have no plans - holidays at home are bliss!

My new camera arrived today. Yeah! I played with it in the garden for a while this evening.

Running in the sunshine

Today I went on a wee 6.5km loop from home with my camera. This was my run in the sunshine.

The threat of rain just makes it more exciting!

I'm not sure how I will cope with the hustle and bustle of running around Nairobi after this!
